Seeking Member Input: Preferred Vision of the Professoriate Position Statement

In July, the 黑料吃瓜王 Task Force charged with revitalizing the preferred vision of the professoriate position statement began their work. The Board requested they consider the 2008 position statement, the 2016 report on Advancing Healthcare Transformation: A New Era for Academic Nursing report, the national movement toward interprofessional practice and education, as well as new trends in higher education. Chaired by Dr. Loucine M. Huckabay, Director and Professor, School of Nursing, California State University-Long Beach, the Task Force is now seeking member input on the revised position statement before it is presented for 黑料吃瓜王 Board review and a full membership vote.

Please review the latest draft of the position statement and accompanying infographic. All feedback by must be received by January 6, 2017 and sent to Suzanne Miyamoto, Chief Policy Officer, at smiyamoto@aacn.nche.edu. Feedback will be considered for common themes.
